Pearson - Marvel Readers
After the success of the Avengers movies, I was asked to work on a series of Marvel graded readers - Captain America, Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy. These were aimed at encouraging even the most reluctant readers to take part. These included exciting stills from the movies, character overviews, word lists and activities for the reader to enjoy. The idea for these, was to be as dynamic and as colourful as possible. Adhering to very strict brand and asset guidelines, I edited photos, created graphics and laid out spreads to make these readers come to life. I really enjoyed being able to work with Marvel licensed content due to it being such a massive global brand, having iconic characters and ever evolving, creative storytelling.
